As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you will ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and organized, enabling smooth and efficient service. This position is paid by the hour plus tips and offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively bar while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and sanitizing equipment to uphold health standards.
  • Restock bar supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware promptly to ensure bartenders are always ready for service.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including garnishing drinks and preparing simple bar snacks or accompaniments.
  • Support bartenders by bussing empty glasses and clearing used dishes from tables and bar counters efficiently.
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service to maintain safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members in catering events or banquet settings to support smooth operations during large gatherings or private parties.

Skills

  • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain a spotless work environment.
  • Experience in food preparation, food handling, or catering environments is highly desirable.
  • Previous nightclub, restaurant, hotel, or food industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence in fast-paced settings such as serving or barista roles.
